9月4日,地处揭西县城河婆镇市中心的济襄桥,举行隆重的重建竣工典礼。该桥于1928年春动工兴建,1932年农历2月21日竣工。2008年7月8日,原济襄桥因年代久远,河床下切等原因,在特大山洪暴发冲击下,倾斜下陷,变为危桥。
