我们生产大队离县城五十华里,是个三面环山,一面临河,石多地薄的山村。现有耕地几百七十六亩,其中青砂板地占二分之一。果树四千一百六十棵,蚕场十五把。一百二十户,六百三十口人,男女劳动力二百零五人。解放前,由于受着反动阶级的统治、地富的残酷剥削,贫苦农民生活十分困苦,卫生状况很坏,连年疫病流行,受着各种疾病的折磨,贫苦农民祖祖辈辈过着饥寒交迫的悲惨生活。正如在旧社会我们这里流行着的一首民歌所说:
