For the first time, the “Decision of the CPC Central Committee and the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on Several Major Issues in Building a Socialist Harmonious Society” passed by the 6th Plenary Session of the 16th CPC Central Committee clearly sets forth the major proposition and strategic task of “building a socialist core value system” for the first time.
