利用PEG6000模拟干旱环境,通过对玉米种子在不同水分环境下的萌动,萌发及出苗三个阶段水分需求的量化研究表明:种子的抗旱性随吸水进程的推动而减弱;种子达到萌动,萌发及出土成苗所需时间(t)与外界环境水势(W)之间1/t=a+bw的关系,据此推算出玉米种子在不同成苗阶段的需水阈值,发现种子在不同成苗过程中对环境水分的反应不同,抗旱性也不同。
