中国的集邮活动肇始于约19世纪70年代末。1949年中华人民共和国成立后,特别是改革开放以来,在全国各地的企业、学校、军营、机关、团体,以至农村,集邮活动蓬勃开展,并相继成立了各省、市、自治区的集邮协会。1982年1月30日,中华全国集邮联合会成立,同年8月25日至29日在北京举行了第一次代表大会。自中华全国集邮联合会成立以来,群众性集邮组织迅速发展壮大,形成了覆盖全国的集邮组织网络。30多年来,全国各地每年都有成千上万的集邮者参加知识讲座、学术报告会、邮品交换等活动,呈现出一片全国性的集邮繁荣
China’s philatelic activities started in the late 1870s. Since the founding of the People’s Republic of China in 1949, especially since the reform and opening up, vigorous philately activities have been vigorously carried out in enterprises, schools, military camps, organs and organizations in all parts of the country as well as in rural areas and the philatelic associations of various provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions have been established one after another. January 30, 1982, the All-China Philatelic Federation was established, the same year in August 25 to 29 held its first congress in Beijing. Since the founding of the China Philatelic Federation, mass philatelic organizations have rapidly developed and formed a network of philatelic organizations covering the whole country. For more than 30 years, tens of thousands of philatelics have taken part in lectures, academic seminars and exchange of stamps every year throughout the country, presenting a nationwide philately prosperous
