The 17th National Congress of the Communist Party of China clearly proposed the new requirements of “respecting the principal status of party members” and clarified the basic principles and the direction of efforts for further promoting the building of inner-party democracy. The main body of the party members is the political status of the party members as the masters of the party. It means that the party members are the cause and construction of the party.
