现今流行的网络访问方案 如今拥有企业级网络的公司都在设法解决本地和远程用户对网络的访问问题,特别是要求能够访问网络上具有各种不同操作系统的服务器。人们希望以简单且经济的方式访问网络,能够为终端、打印机、调制解调器等设备提供简洁的扩展串行端口。一种叫做终端服务器的设备应运而生,而且变得越来越流行。终端服务器在理论上对接人的串行设备的数目没有限制,可在网络的任何地方接入,端口价格低廉,使网络扩展和远程访问变得容易。
Today’s Popular Web Access Solutions Companies with enterprise-class networks are now trying to address network access problems for both local and remote users, and in particular require access to servers with a variety of operating systems on the network. People want to be able to access the network in a simple and economical way, providing a simple, scalable serial port for devices such as endpoints, printers, and modems. A device called a terminal server came into being and became more and more popular. There is no theoretical limit to the number of serial devices that can be docked in a terminal server. It can be accessed from anywhere in the network, with inexpensive ports, making network expansion and remote access easy.
