漳平苏区是土地革命战争时期中国共产党领导下创建的一块革命根据地,是闽西革命根据地的重要组成部分,为中国革命作出了重要贡献,属于中央苏区范围。在波澜壮阔的革命斗争岁月里,朱德、罗荣桓、谭震林、粟裕、邓子恢、张鼎丞、郭滴人等老一辈无产阶级革命家以及方方、郭化若、魏金水、伍洪祥、王直、廖成美、李德安、熊兆仁、俞炳辉等老将军和老红军都曾在漳平这块红土地上纵横驰骋,进行伟大的革命实践活动,留下光辉的革命足迹。
The Zhangping Soviet Area was a revolutionary base under the leadership of the Chinese Communist Party during the Agrarian Revolutionary War and was an important part of the revolutionary base area in Western Fujian. It made an important contribution to the Chinese revolution and belonged to the scope of the Central Soviet Area. In the years of revolutionary revolutionary struggles, Zhu De, Luo Ronghuan, Tan Zhenlin, Su Yu, Deng Zicheng, Zhang Dingcheng and Guo Daoren and other proletarian revolutionaries of the older generation, as well as proletarian revolutionaries such as Fang Fang, Guo Huaruo, Wei Jinshui, Wu Hongxiang, Wang Zheng, Liao Chengmei, , Yu Binghui and other veteran generals and the Red Army all had their maneuvers on the red land in Zhangping.
