The Hunan Institute of Metals held a meeting of the Secretary-General of 23 professional academic committees in Changsha on May 25, 2000. The director of the Provincial Metal Society, Li Zhanglu and the deputy director of the Provincial Association of Science and Technology Tao Cixin attended the meeting.
