西部大开发,我们将面临激烈的人才竞争。东西部地区差距扩大的诸多因素中的一个最重要的因素,就是西部地区科学教育事业发展严重滞后,专业技术人员的质量和数量普遍低于东部地区。同时,西部地区现有的专业技术人员没有得到比较合理的使用。因此,抓好人才的培养、选拨和使用,是加快西部大开发,促进经济发展的关键。
In the great development of the western region, we will face fierce talent competition. One of the most important factors in the widening gap between the eastern and western regions is the serious lag in the development of science education in the western region. The quality and number of professional and technical personnel are generally lower than those in the eastern region. At the same time, the existing professional and technical personnel in the western region did not get a more reasonable use. Therefore, doing a good job in training, selecting, and using qualified personnel is the key to speeding up the development of the western region and promoting economic development.
