在深入开展“农业学大寨”的群众运动中,在外省“吨田”的启示下,洋县前湾公社后湾大队党支部1973年在1.86亩水田里,进行了稻麦两熟一吨粮的高产试验.由于坚持斗争哲学,不断总结经验,认真实行科学种田,使试验获得成功.试验田夏季净收小麦1,295斤,平均亩产696.3斤,秋季净收稻谷2,443斤,平均亩产1313.4斤,全年稻麦两季平均亩产达到2009.7斤,开创了当地稻麦两熟一吨粮的高产范例,为平坝稻麦两熟地区进一步挖掘增
