Changes in the structure of social strata have always been a focus of attention of all sectors of society and an important basis for the formulation of various policies by the government. In the 20 years since the reform and opening up, the social strata structure of China has undergone major changes. The social status, economic status and lifestyle differences among all levels have also become increasingly clear. In order to have an exhaustive understanding of this issue, we interviewed Wang Chun, a researcher at the Institute of Sociology of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, an important member of the research group on “Studies on the Changes of Social Structure in Contemporary China”
