黎母山同色万代兰是海南野生兰花之一。(见图)。分布于海拨200——1000米的黎母山原始森林中。年平均气温23——24℃。年降水量2500——3000毫米。年平均相对湿度82——84%。同色万代兰喜在高温潮湿的热带雨林中生长。叶片长15——25公分,宽2公分左右,向两侧排列,整齐对称,浓绿茂密。叶基部槽形襄住茎部。根为肉质,气生根,根系发达,附生性强,根附生树干可长2米。花为总状花序,一穗多花,一株同时长2——6穗,每穗花4——20朵,花朵背面是白色,花朵正面有棕色、咖啡色、紫铜色,唇瓣有许多紫色斑条。同色万代兰每朵花期平均32天,全穗花期
