Objective To investigate the clinical significance of detecting serum neuron specific enolase (NSE) and glutathione S-transferase (GST) in patients with acute cerebral infarction, and to provide a reference for clinical research. Methods A total of 120 patients with acute cerebral infarction admitted to our hospital were enrolled in this study. At the same time, 100 healthy people were randomly selected from the outpatient department as the control group, and the basic information of all subjects were recorded in detail. In the case group, elbow venous blood was drawn from the control group after fasting and on the 14th day after admission, and serum NSE and GST levels were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Results The level of NSE in patients before treatment was significantly higher (16.2 ± 2.6) μg / L than that in control group (11.0 ± 1.5) μg / L, while the level of GST was significantly lower than that in control group (10.7 ± 2.8) ng / ml 15.1 ± 3.5) ng / ml, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Serum NSE level (11.3 ± 2.5) μg / L and GST level (14.6 ± 3.5) ng / ml (P <0.05). Compared with the control group, the serum NSE level and GST level in the case group were not significantly different on the 14th day after treatment (P> 0.05) ). Conclusions Serum levels of NSE and GST in patients with acute cerebral infarction have significant changes before and after treatment. Serum levels of NSE and GST can be monitored clinically, and the changes of patients with acute cerebral infarction can be timely understood.
