我区西关街小学自一九八六年设立了“红领巾免费打气站”,这种社会服务活动受到群众欢迎,得到市政府领导的称赞,《今晚报》《天津日报》先后予以宣传报道。现在,“红领巾免费打气站”又推广到了全区二十七所临街小学。原因是什么呢? 首先,这种社会服务活动,正如张立昌副市长所讲“体现了为人民服务的思想和觉悟”,有助于树立一种良好的社会风尚,有助于从小培养孩子们助人为乐的高尚品德。其次,这种社会服务活动是从群众的实际需要出发的,确实能为群众解决一点日常生活中的困难。还有一点不容忽视,就是这种社会服务活动,也是从小学生的实际出发的,切实可行,负担不
