The “One Hundred Years of Russian Art Exhibition” organized by the China Artists Association and the Hill Art Culture and Education Foundation is a grand occasion for the fine art world. The exhibition shows painters who played an important role in Soviet painting in the 1950s and 1990s such as Jinsong, Melnikov, Yablonskaya, Gritschay, Tkachev, Kor’iv, Sarachov, Viktor Ivanov, Nikki, and Maximov, who played an active role in the development of Chinese oil painting. The Chinese art community is very familiar with these painters. A few of them visited China and are our old friends.
