Recently, books such as “Elementary English”, “Introduction to English” and “Introduction to French” * * published by the European Council for Cultural Cooperation, and “Grundbaustein” published by the German Association of Amateur Universities all attempt to provide language teaching and learning Two aspects of the content. We consider these sets of detailed instructions “proto-syllabuses.” When we develop tutorials, plan lessons, write quizzes, test questions, etc., we can find information that meets the needs of our work. The preparation and expansion of such detailed instructions are, after all, a major step toward making classroom teaching more effective. We feel like we’re going: we spend a lot of time composing textbooks based on subjectively tailored exam syllabi and market pressures, and we should at least spend the same amount of time and energy thinking about what we have to teach .
