在审查老爷们不讲理的情况之下,舆论界的艰苦困难是很难于想象的。我们在舆论界参加工作的人,当然希望自己的意见或主张可以得到审查的通过而发表出来,所以对于审查老爷的忌讳也时在留心避免,免得绞脑汁赶夜工写成的文章被送入棺材里面去,但是审查老爷们的忌讳往往出乎常理之外,不是人类的脑子所能预料得到的。试举几个具体的例子来谈谈。我曾于今年二月间写一篇“社论”,题为《舆论的力量》,里面的意思不但是原则的,而且在我们看来也是很平凡的。例如说:“无论哪一个报,执
