党中央提出增产节约的号召以后,促使我们考虑钢轧辊是否也可以用金属型来制造,这样不仅可以提高轧辊表面质量,减少中心缩孔,并能节省造型工时、钢水消耗和加工工时。我厂经过近一年的试制,用金属型铸造辊径在500公厘以下的轧辊已获得成功;辊径大于500公厘的还存在较严重的纵裂纹,有待进一步研究。
After the CPC Central Committee put forward the call for increasing production and saving energy, it prompted us to consider whether the steel rollers can also be made of metal. This will not only improve the roll surface quality, reduce the center shrinkage cavity, but also reduce the molding man-hour, consumption of molten steel and working hours. After nearly a year of trial production of our factory, we have succeeded in casting the roller with the diameter of 500mm under the metal type; more serious longitudinal cracks still exist in the roller diameter of more than 500mm, which needs further study.
