①目的了解男性警察的个性特征，为运用心理学方法选拔男性警察提供依据。②方法采用修订卡氏１６种人格因素量表（１６ＰＦ），对５４例健康疗养的男性警察进行测验，并与中国男性成人常模比较。③结果男性警察的稳定性、有恒性、世故性和自律性均显著高于成人常模（ｔ＝２．２９３～５．７３７，Ｐ＜０．０５，０．００１），敏感性、独立性和紧张性均显著低于成人常模（ｔ＝２．６２４～３．２８６，Ｐ＜０．０５，０．０１）。④结论男性警察具有高稳定性、高有恒性、高世故性、高自律性和低敏感性、低独立性、低紧张性的个性特征，１６ＰＦ测量可作为男性警察选拔和培养的参考依据
①Objective To understand the personality characteristics of male police officers and provide evidences for selecting male police officers by using psychological methods. Methods Sixteen personality variables (16PF) were used to test the health of 54 male police officers and compared with that of Chinese male adults. Results The stability, persistence, precociousness and self-discipline of male police officers were significantly higher than that of adult norm (t = 2.293-5.737, P <0.05,0.001). The sensitivity and independence And stress were significantly lower than the norm of adult (t = 2.624 ~ 3.286, P <0.05,0.01). ④ Conclusion Male police have the characteristics of high stability, high perseverance, high probability, high self-discipline and low sensitivity, low independence and low stress. 16PF measurement can be used as a reference basis for male police selection and training
