第四次国际滑坡讨论会已于1984年9月在加拿大多伦多市举行。这次会议是由土力学和基础结构国际协会滑坡委员会组织的。参加会议的有32个国家的231名专家(包括中国的专家)。讨论会按7个题目进行,内容包括:(1)气象条件和地下水是滑坡的因素;(2)岩石中的边坡移动;(3)风化岩和残积土中的滑坡;(4)过密实粘土和软弱岩石中的滑坡;(5)软粘土中的滑坡;(6)淤泥、砂质和黄土状岩石中的滑坡,包括潜水滑坡;(7)研究滑坡
The Fourth International Landslide Symposium was held in Toronto, Canada, in September 1984. The meeting was organized by the landslide committee of the International Association of Soil Mechanics and Infrastructure. There were 231 experts (including Chinese experts) in 32 countries participating in the conference. The seminar will be conducted on seven topics, including: (1) meteorological conditions and groundwater are factors of landslide; (2) slope movement in rocks; (3) landslides in weathered rocks and remnants; (4) Landslides in clay and soft rocks; landslides in soft clay; landslides in silt, sandy and loess rocks, including diving landslides; landslides
