Located in Saitama Prefecture in northern Tokyo, this home is located on a quiet and secluded residential street. In this small space, the architect designed the split-level house through a combination of glass and sheet steel. From a technical point of view, this private home is more than just a work of art, but it also shows homeowners’ exploration of spaces and natural networks. The whole building is made of sheet steel and glass. Through the diagonal of the linear staircase, the building is combined with the floor to form a variety of lines that move up and down, which enhances the three-dimensional sense of the whole house. An artist uses mathematical rules to create his repeated patterns.
