连云港市食品公司是原市食品总公司解体后新分设的企业,现有职工400余人,下属4个分公司、2个直属贸易公司、6个农区食品站、3个畜禽分厂、冷库和肉联厂以及近60个营业网点,负责市区猪内供应工作。1994年企业分设时,公司失去了较好的肉类加工和冷藏条件,成为纯商业流通企业。当时摆在面前的是:企业经济总量和经营规模较小,生产加工和经营设施简陋,企业经济效益低下,发展后劲严重不足。面对这一严峻局面,公司坚持在困境中求生存、求发展,在改革中强化管理,挖掘潜力,完善经营承包责任制,努力扩大销售,积极开展贸易经营,增加经济效
