审美教育是培养全面发展的人应该具备的重要素质之一,是终身教育的一个重要组成部分,而音乐教育是进行审美教育直接的、有效的手段,对人进行音乐方面的终身教育我将其简称为“终身音乐教育”。在进入老龄阶段,人的视觉、听力、嗅觉、味觉、痛觉、触觉感觉器官等逐渐减退,从而产生很多老年人性格、心理上的问题,音乐教育对老年人的身心健康都具有积极作用,通过音乐的内容和教育的手段缓解老年人的性格和心理改变问题,从而达到生理、心理平衡发展。
