夹竹桃的粉花种犹如桃花,丰润艳丽;白花种皓洁如雪,晶莹照人。花期长,由6月开至10月。性强健,不择土壤,抗烟尘和空气污染。是庭院及厂矿区优美花木,深受群众喜爱。南方地栽,株高可达5—6米,北方庭院盆栽也有3—4米高。为了适应需要,可对植株矮化处理,还可促进提前开花。根据本人栽培经验,简介以下供参考。
