人物简介:赵琼·谢克坦茨,华裔美籍女诗人,画家,文学博士,美国女神艺术博物馆馆长。曾就读西北大学研究生作家班,京都大学,早稻田大学文学美术史专业。欧美现代主义诗作最早的中文译者之一,亦是著名的朦胧诗诗人。酷爱中国水墨书画和日本浮世绘版画,从传统临摹到现代抽象艺术创作和油画人物写实,她的作品均追求一种东西方风格交融的“唯美形式”。她的艺术理念是“艺术起源于对死亡的抗拒,是超越死亡的一种方式。”作品多次在中国、日本、美国参展并获奖,包括日本富士美术奖、国际文化和平奖等。曾协助早稻田大学教授吉村怜导师长期研究东方佛教美术史,出版有论著、译著、诗画集二十多部,产生广泛影响。现定居美国从事绘画创作和古美术品收藏研究,并创办了美国女神艺术画廊,美国女神艺术博物馆。
