Myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) is a group of clonal diseases characterized by abnormal cell differentiation and maturation. Vitamin D3 derivatives can differentiate and mature the various cell lines. The authors report the effect of a group of open-label vitamin D3 supplements on patients with MDS. Patients and Methods A group of 1 9 (male 12, female 7) patients were enrolled in the study.
