1940年春,我在苏皖区党委党训班(党校)学习结业分配到施教八团(文工团)任党代表。由于日伪顽的封锁,皖东北与淮涟联系中断,而政治交通员张群被杀害,找不到合适人选。因我是涟水成集人,对朱南荡一带(地委机关驻地)熟悉,区党委调我当一次政治交通员,送信到三地委,通知杨纯等人去皖东北开会。领导找我谈话说,这是政治任务,是组织上对我的考验。
In the spring of 1940, I graduated from the party training class (Party School) in Jiangsu and Anhui Provinces and assigned to teach the 8th Corps (Art Work League) as party delegate. Due to the blockade imposed by Japan and the United States, contacts were broken in northeast Anhui and Huai Lian, and political traffic officer Zhang Qun was killed, unable to find a suitable candidate. Because I am Lianshui Chengjiu, I am familiar with the Zhuangdan area (the local authority station), and the district party committee transferred me as a political traffic officer and sent letters to the three prefectural committees to notify Yang Chun and others to a meeting in northeast Anhui. Leaders talk to me and say that this is a political task and an organizational test for me.
