At present, 70% of global oil production comes from the old fields that have been in operation for more than 10 years, while the main force of China’s crude oil production is the development of more than 30 years old fields. In 2013, China produced 210 million tons of crude oil, of which about 150 million tons of onshore crude oil was produced. Over half of China’s land is oilfields, producing more than 70% of the country’s oil and gas output. In addition, from the use of reserves and annual oil production point of view, the old oil field is the main body of the development of oil into the “double high” mining stage of the old oil field output and remaining recoverable reserves accounted for the country
