Wide oscillation has become an obvious feature of the international crude oil price trend in July. The overall market bullish atmosphere is stronger. The Gulf of Mexico oil-producing area was hit by frequent tropical storms. Overhaul of refineries in Europe and the United States, increased demand for gasoline in summer, and the low level of crude oil inventories in the United States are the major factors that have contributed to the recent oil price strength. In July, spot prices of WTI, Brent and Asian Dubai crude oil averaged 30.70 U.S. dollars / barrel, 28.35 U.S. dollars / barrel and 26.7 U.S. dollars / barrel respectively, up 4 U.S. dollars respectively from the June price level Cent / barrel, 84 cents / barrel and 1.21 US dollars / barrel.
