一九八八年六月和九月,我先后两次到株洲所辖的株洲县、醴陵市、攸县、茶陵县、酃县五县(市)调查图书馆事业发展状况,历时20天,现将调查情况整理综述如下。一、发展中的图书馆事业党的十一届三中全会以来,株洲地区五县(市)图书馆事业,受到了株洲市委、各县(市)委和各级人民政府的重视,在宣传、文化部门的领导下,通过图书馆工作人员的努力,开创了一个新的局面。 1.各县(市)图书馆机构健全,馆舍也比较齐备,藏书不断增加。七九年后全地区实现了县县有图书馆。近几年来,全地区共投资近一百万元,新建了礼陵、攸县、酃县三个图书馆,另外株洲
