美育及艺术教育是我国教育面向现代化、面向世界、面向未来全面发展不可缺少的组成元素。美能直接诉诸人的情感,使人在精神上获得一种极大的愉悦和满足。随着时代的发展,美育越来越受社会的重视。高校作为人才培养的重要基地,开展美育教学是非常必要的。做好高校美育教学,要适应时代精神,理论与实例相结合,陶冶学生情操,提高审美鉴赏能力,最终塑造其健康人格。
