小麦条锈病是我省小麦生产上的重要病害,有的地区叶锈也很严重。近年来我省种植面积最大的阿波等小麦品种抗条锈病性已经减弱,而且若干地区因条锈病减产很大,急需选出新的抗锈高产良种,以满足生产上的需要。今年在我省各兄弟单位的协作和支持下,共征集了六十三个近年选青的优良小麦品种(系),分别种于常年锈病发生较重的绵阳、雅安、纳溪、青神和成都西郊等五个地方。每品种(系)种三行(种子数量少者则种二行或一行),
Wheat stripe rust is an important disease in wheat production in our province, and in some areas leaf rust is also very serious. In recent years, the largest planted area in our province, Abo and other wheat varieties have weakened the resistance to stripe rust. In some areas, the production of stripe rust is greatly reduced. Therefore, it is urgent to choose a new anti-rust and high-yielding variety to meet the production needs. This year, with the cooperation and support of various fraternal units in our province, 63 types of fine wheat varieties (lines) that were recently selected as green were collected, which were planted in Mianyang, Ya’an, Naxi, Chengdu western suburbs five places.
