本刊2004年第4期和第7、8期“新观察”栏目曾经先后就“经典诵读”的话题进行了讨论,当时一位热心于经典诵读并参与了本刊讨论的妈妈读者还特地送给了编辑一本《弟子规》读本和一张《弟子规》光盘。她在信中说,“现在一提对孩子的教育,不少人就认为是让孩子学英语,学琴棋书画,而根本的做人的问题却被忽视了。”时隔3年,不知这位妈妈和她的女儿是否还在坚持,也不知这位女儿是否真如妈妈所愿,在经典诵读之路收获颇丰。如今,经典诵读已被越来越多的家长所熟知和接纳,我们可以看到,不少家庭书架上都或多或少摆着那么几本经典诵读的材料,有些是盲目跟风,有一搭没一搭读着玩的;有些则是真的当做一件重要的事情来做的,比如,来自北京市丰台区桃李芳园艺术幼儿园的这几位家长,他们对经典诵读就有着自己的认识和感受,让我们一起来聆听……
