据统计,1997年我国DVD机市场销售量仅占影碟机总销量的0.4%,1998年占2.1%,1999年销量突破100万台,而2000年年底达到了400万台。预计在2002年,DVD价格还会大幅度下降,全年销售量将达到2000万台,销售量增长幅度不会低于250%,DVD机届时将会成为城市影碟机市场的主体。北京美兰德信息公司等全国21家调查机构,于2000年末在北京、天津、上海、广州、等22个城市联合进行了2000年城市居民生活调查。调查结果表明,随着人民生活水平的不断提高,音像设备市场潜力越来越大。拥有率较低的DVD机2000年有较高的增长,全年购买量达23.4万台,市场上升空间仍很大。22城市居民家庭中VCD、CVD、SVCD机2000年末拥有率已达57.9%,普及速度放慢,全年增长7.6%,购买量为74.6万台。预测2001年我国DVD销售将呈加速增长,2001年22城市居民家庭意向购买率为2.1%,意向购买量达38万台。此外,预测2001年VCD、CVD、SVCD机意向购买率为1.9%,意
