前列腺增生症为常见老年疾病,随着医疗条件改善及现代医学发展,我国人民平均寿命不断增高,前列腺增生症患者势必有增无减。近来,要求住院手术病人比以往明显增加。随着B-utra Sonagrapy(B-US)更新换镜的应用,国外大多数前列腺增生症病人,代及电切采取TURP(经尿道前列腺摘除术),由于此术式国内尚未普及,目前外科手术仍是治疗前列腺增生症的主要方法。
