水土保持是一项有利于国计民生的重要工作,保持水土,利在当代,功在千秋。它不仅可以改善生态环境,而且在经济社会发展中也起着重要的作用。宁国市是典型的山区县市,年平均降水量1427mm,地形特点为山高坡陡,有大小河流400余条,河道曲折且坡降大,易发洪灾,极易造成水土流失。水土保持工作对于这样的山区县市更加重要。
Soil and water conservation is an important work in the interest of national economy and the people’s well-being. It can not only improve the ecological environment, but also play an important role in economic and social development. Ningguo is a typical mountainous area with an average annual rainfall of 1427mm. The terrain is characterized by steep mountain slopes with more than 400 rivers and streams. The river has twists and turns and is prone to floods, which can easily cause soil erosion. Soil and water conservation work is more important for such mountainous counties and cities.
