北京市的讀書运动在短短时間内有了很大的發展,已有五十多万青年自願結合成許多以学習毛澤东同志著作为中心的政治理論学習小組。这种学習組織有的叫“毛主席著作学習小組”,或是叫“紅旗讀書会”、“紅專躍进组”。从这些名目就可見他們的学習具有鮮明的目的性,反映出这次讀書运动的群众性。广大青年們热烈地学習毛澤东同志著作,是客观形势發展的必然。青
The reading movement in Beijing has greatly developed within a short period of time. Over 500,000 young people have voluntarily joined together to form many political theory study groups centered on studying Comrade Mao Zedong’s work. Some of these learning organizations are called “Chairman Mao’s Study Group,” or “Red Flag Reading Club,” and “Red Flag Leap Forward Group.” From these names, we can see that their study has a distinct purpose and reflects the mass character of the reading movement.
