In order to speed up the modernization and internationalization of Chinese medicine, the Ministry of Science and Technology formally implemented the “Plan of Action for Modernization of Traditional Chinese Medicine” in 1998. Since the Ministry of Science and Technology approved the establishment of the first national science and technology industrial base in Sichuan Province in 1999, 20 traditional Chinese medicine science and technology industrial bases have been established. Among them, 11 bases in Sichuan and Guangdong have passed the first phase of construction planning acceptance. Through the construction of traditional Chinese medicine science and technology industry base, a large number of key Chinese medicine enterprises have been cultivated in the past 10 years
