As of June 2002, the total export volume of Gaomi City was 85.72 million US dollars, an increase of 11% from the same period of last year of 77.29 million US dollars. Exports under processing trade totaled 18.11 million U.S. dollars, a year-on-year drop of 35%. The Sub-branch of Gaomi City took Shandong Jieyu Textile Co., Ltd. as an example to carry out special investigations on the reduction of exports under the processing trade of export enterprises in the city.
