辽宁省建筑设计研究院(LNBDRI)是国家甲级建筑设计和甲级工程勘察单位,也是国家首批具有建筑智能化专项工程设计资质的单位。本院创建于1956年1月,由沈阳、大连、锦州三市的设计人才汇集而成, 至今已发展成为专业设置齐全,设计手段先进、技术力量雄厚、社会信誉卓著的优秀建筑设计与勘察单位。全院职工282人,其中教授级高级建筑师和教授级高级工程师23人,高级建筑师和高级工程师60人, 建筑师和结构工程师83人;一级注册建筑师、一级注册结构工程师56人,注册岩土工程师,注册咨询工程师,注册公用设备工程师、注册电气工程师、注册造价工程师等其他国家级注册工程师35人,突出贡献专家10人。本院下设3个综合性建筑设计研究所,2个专业所(建筑、结构)以及环境艺术研究所、建筑经济所、工程技术咨询部等部门,院属公司有岩土工程有限公司,工程总承包有限公司、项目管理咨询公司、施工图设计审查咨询有限公司,辽宁泰兴装饰工程有限公司、辽宁建院建筑工程技术有限公司,辽宁山水城市景观绿化有限公司等实体。并于2004年在宁波成立了分支机构——宁波汇宁建筑设计有限公司。
