天津市困难职工救助中心是2002年初成立的。中心以“扶危济难、快捷帮扶”为工作宗旨,实行集中资金、集中物资、集中岗位、集中帮扶的“一站式”服务,庄严承诺“特困帮扶不隔夜、入户帮扶即到位”,构筑帮扶困难职工的第三道有效防线。中心成立以来的一年间,就接待困难职工2.6万余人次,直接救助特困职工6000多人次,帮助4890名特困职工实现了再就业,为1600多名职工提供了法律援助服务,260多名特困职工得到医疗救助,120多名特困家庭子女得到助学救
