The newly developed CableSpan ~ (TM) 2300, a new generation of multi-service transmission system developed by Tailor International Ltd., can quickly provide a wide range of telecommunication services and adapt to the rapidly growing demand on the existing HFC network. The system can provide a variety of special business, data and image applications in addition to voice services. The system connects the existing CATV head-end equipment to the public telephone network and provides a direct radio frequency (RF) interface that is compatible with the existing HFC network’s frequency band. CableSpan system uses a narrow and frequency-adjustable narrow-band RF carrier
