武汉市武昌区基层党员干部吴天祥 ,在区信访办这一“清水衙门”任副主任以来 ,恪尽职守、勤政为民、助人为乐 ,处处为民解难为党分忧 ,6年中先后接待上访群众万余人次 ,处理问题近万件 ,写出 1 80多篇信访调研材料 ,走到哪里就把党和政府的温暖带到那里。近 30年来 ,吴天祥从微薄的收入中挤出万余元资助他人 ,曾 9次义务献血共2 1 0 0毫升 ,其中 5次是步入 4 0岁以后所献 ,以其“人生为人民 ,生命值千金”的价值观 ,谱写了一支爱民曲。吴天祥淡泊名利 ,廉洁自律 ,拒绝一切请吃 ,拒收一切礼品 ,三番五次退回群众的“感恩钱”。他生活艰苦朴素 ,从不向组织伸手 ,以无私奉献精神 ,体现了一个共产党员的坚强党性和高尚品德。
