我国著名的民族英雄、抗金名将岳飞,遭投降派赵构、秦桧一伙以莫须有罪名害死后,抗战派多次上书为之鸣冤,终于在宁宗嘉泰四年(1204年)岳飞得以昭雪沉冤,追晋封鄂王;理宗宝庆元年(1225年)又昭谥忠武。这封勅书解放后曾一度流失,不知落到何处,直1980年才由阜阳博物馆珍藏起来。岳飞,字鹏举,北宋崇宁二年(1103年)二月十五日出生在河南省汤阴
