一元一次不等式组是初中数学的一个重要内容,其中不等式组的解集的确定又是一个难点.如何确定不等式组的解集呢?我们知道,几个不等式的解集的公共部分,叫做由它们所组成的不等式组的解集.根据不等式组的解集的定义,我们可以先求出不等式组中各个不等式的解集,并把它们在数轴上表示出来,根据数轴求出两个不等式解集的公共部分(用阴影部分表示),用不等式表示出来,就得到原不等式组的解集.我们不妨称这种确定不等式组解集的方法叫做“数轴确定法”.
