我们已报道在N,N-二甲基对甲苯胺(DMT)等三级胺存在下,烯类单体可顺利聚合。由甲基丙烯酸2-甲氧基乙酯(MEMA)在DMT存在下氧化生成过氧化氢物,以及MEMA、甲基丙烯酸甲酯(MMA)以DMT引发聚合动力学的研究。我们认为很可能是由于DMT存在下单体吸氧氧化成过氧化氢物,然后与三级胺进行氧化还原分解产生自由基从而引发单体聚合。由于MEMA单体中有一个醚键,因而比较容易氧化醚键α位的碳氢键而形成如下的过氧化氢物:
We have reported that vinyl monomers can be smoothly polymerized in the presence of tertiary amines such as N, N-dimethyl-p-toluidine (DMT). Oxidation of 2-methoxyethyl methacrylate (MEMA) to DMO in the presence of DMT, and the kinetics of DMA-initiated polymerization of MEMA and methyl methacrylate (MMA) were studied. We think it is likely to be due to the presence of DMT monomer oxidation of oxygen into hydrogen peroxide, and then the tertiary amine redox decomposition generated free radicals to trigger the polymerization of monomers. Due to the presence of an ether bond in the MEMA monomer, it is easier to oxidize the hydrogen bond at the alpha position of the ether bond to form the following hydrogen peroxide species:
