刚刚闭幕的第18届世界翻译大会向我们展示了多元文化的魅力,国务院新闻办公室主任王晨在大会开幕式上说:“翻译,作为跨语言、跨民族、跨文化交流的桥梁,为促进人类文明发展和社会进步发挥了重要作用。”在奥运会这场全球文化盛宴中,当然也少不了语言服务作为沟通、对话的纽带。本届奥运会的注册和非注册记者共四万余人,他们来自世界一百多个国家,操着多种语言,为的是让全世界受众分享北京奥运会的光荣与梦想。16天的奥运会闭幕了,这些奥运信息使者对北京奥组委提供的语言服务是否满意·这些语言的小小渡船是否将他们渡到沟通的彼岸·服务奥运的语言工作者们又如何评价自己的工作·他们在服务与沟通之中有哪些独到的体会·就在我们寻找答案的时候,一个“80后”女孩、北京奥运会主新闻中心语言服务中心的负责人走到了我们面前,她的名字叫潘兰兮。通过她的讲述,语言工作者16个日夜勤勉热诚的工作情景清晰地呈现在我们面前。

How can the Olympic language service workers evaluate their own At work, what unique experiences did they have in service and communication? Just as we looked for answers, a ”post 80s" girl and the head of the Beijing Olympic Games Main Press Center's Language Service Center came to us. Her Name is Pan Lang Xi. Through her narration, 16 day and night language workers work hard and dedicated work clearly presented before us.
