钱部长: 您好。我们受辽宁省卫生局委托,于1978年出版了一本主要为县(区)、厂矿、公社地区医院医务人员服务的医学刊物——辽宁中级医刊,到现在为止,已出版了39期。最近,根据一些读者建议,同时考虑到人民卫生出版社出版的《中级医刊》早已复刊,省卫生局决定将《辽宁中级医刊》改名为《医师进修杂志》。改名后,刊物仍拟以广大基层医务人员为主要读者对象,面向临床,从临床实际出发;同时,还拟对编辑工作做一些改进。现特写信给您,请您就如何办好医学期刊的问题为本刊说几句话。

Entrusted by the Liaoning Provincial Health Bureau, we published in Liaoning Province in 1978 a medical journal mainly serving the medical staff in the county (district), factory, and commune districts - Liaoning Intermediate Journal, which has been published 39 times so far. Recently, according to some readers’ suggestions, taking into account that the “Intermediate Medical Journal” published by People’s Health Publishing House has been resumed already, the provincial Health Bureau decided to rename the “Liaoning Intermediate Medical Journal” to “Physician Training Journal.” After the name was changed, the publication still intends to take the majority of grassroots medical personnel as the main target audience for clinical and clinical practice; at the same time, it plans to make some improvements to the editorial work.
