戏剧是最容易为群众所接受的艺术形式,而話剧艺术在反映現代生活方面具有比較优越和方便的条件。中国的話剧艺术是在人民革命斗爭的年代里,在革命战爭中成长的,它富有光輝的战斗传統。中华人民共和国成立以来,新中国的話剧事业受到党和国家的极大关怀,空前地发展和壮大了。中国青年艺术剧院是抗日战爭中在延安成立的,但作为一个正規的話剧院則是1949年人民的新中国成立以后的事;它是随着祖国社会主义建設事业的发展而成长起來的一个专业話剧院。
Drama is the most easily accepted form of art for the masses, while drama art is more advantageous and convenient in reflecting modern life. China’s drama art grew up in the revolutionary war in the era of people’s revolutionary struggle and has a glorious battle tradition. Since the founding of the People’s Republic of China, the cause of drama in New China has been greatly concerned by the party and the country and has grown and expanded unprecedentedly. The China Youth Art Theater was established in Yan’an during the Anti-Japanese War, but as a regular theater, the people’s post-new China was founded in 1949; it is a profession that grew up with the development of the socialist construction in the motherland theater.
